Epperson Newt [Male] b. 1870 Illinois, United States
Email from Mary M. on Newt's marriage record: ...I sent to the Saline Co., IL clerk on 3-1-2004 and recieved the marriage information in about 3 weeks. Lucky, I guess. Here's what it tells me. 1. The marriage "affidavit" is signed by W. A. Epperson (Martha F. A. Epperson's father). 2. The marriage record that is signed by Rev. W. H. Clark, shows Newton Epperson born 1870/1871, and Laura M. Bridges born 1873/1874. 3. The Marriage Register shows Laura M. Bridges born 1872, father is George A. Bridges, mother is Mary McNair (they were married 3-14-1872 in Jasper Co., IL). It shows Newton Epperson born 1870 and father is unknown, mother is Ann Epperson. My Martha F. A. Epperson was known as "Ann" and she did not marry for the first time until 1876....
